Icknield Way Morris Men
Icknield Way Morris Men are a nationally known side that perform at festivals, weddings, parties and shows all over the country, but mainly in Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Wiltshire. We perform traditional dances from Oxfordshire villages and the whole repertoire of dances recovered from Stanton Harcourt of which we are the guardians. We also have many musicians and can provide all round entertainment for many occasions.

Vale Island Dancers
A 17th Century Dance Group, named after the Island Villages of Charney Bassett, Goosey, Stanford in the Vale, and Hanney in the Vale of the White Horse. The group dance traditional English country (rather than Court) dances from the time of the English Civil War. For public performances, the group dresses in the costume of the period. The dancers are always happy to perform at local events and charity functions.The group meets at Charney Bassett Village Hall on Tuesdays at 8pm. New dancers and musicians are very welcome.

Wantage Stage Musical Company
Our purpose is to produce musicals and shows to a high standard using local talent wherever possible. We produce one fully-staged show every Spring, with other shows and concerts at intervals through the year (see the Diary) along with a programme of social events. We rehearse every Wednesday at Wantage Methodist Church Hall at 7.30pm. between September and April, and at other times as necessary. We welcome singers, dancers and back-stage helpers; no auditions to join.
