Ryder-Cheshire Volunteers - Vale of the White Horse Project RCV, a registered charity, finds ways for physically disabled people to take part in leisure or educational activities, learning new skills or studying for academic or vocational qualifications. Some people are paired with a volunteer who shares the same interest, whilst others are introduced to a local specialist club or college. Social activities are also organised. Volunteers of all ages and from all walks of life are invited to spend a couple of hours, a week or a fortnight, sharing an interest with an RCV member. Qualifications are not required; enthusiasm, reliability and a positive attitude are more important or if you would like to become more involved, why not become a trustee?
