Tom Brown’s School Museum is a small museum in the village of Uffington. It celebrates the history of the local area including the famous White Horse. Exhibitions include the life of Thomas Hughes who wrote Tom Brown’s Schooldays & was born in Uffington together with Poet Laureate John Betjeman who lived in the village. There is also a mock Victorian school room set up for children.
