Many local residents, business owners and councillors are working together to make the three day Wantage and Grove Diamond Jubilee celebrations at the beginning of June, an extended weekend never to be forgotten.
The commemorative programme is carefully being put together and we are looking for historic articles of interest to be included, to tell the story of Wantage & Grove over the past 60 years since Queen Elizabeth ascended to the throne. Of particular interest would be memories of how the Queen’s Silver Jubilee was celebrated in the town.
Articles & photographs will be welcomed to build a picture of how things were and how things have become as they are today in our home town & village. Please submit articles & questions by email to email@example.com or contact Lisa Auchinvole at tfd gym on 01235 772995 if you don’t have access to email.
The deadline for collating and printing is Friday 24th February for information to be received.
There will also be limited advertising space available in the A4 programme, so if you have a local business and are interested in placing an advert please email firstname.lastname@example.org with your enquiry.
